Stephanie Belllofiore EDU 106-82 In today's class, we went over my story map. I feel I did a good job on it and I liked that we were able to keep the same information that we used on the PowerPoint. I found it useful to use the same information that way I could focus on how to actually use and produce a story map. I enjoyed the story map process and I feel that I will use it in the future to present in the workplace.   One issue I am concerned about is my  attendance grade for the class. I have only missed the class on Wed 4/18. This is the only class I have missed over the course of the semester. It is my understanding that students are allowed up to two days absences without a penalty. With this, I am wondering why I have 200/300 points for attendance. Please let me know, and thank you in advance. 

Stephanie Belllofiore EDU 106-82 Today, I was able to make last minute adjustments to my Storymap and was able to submit it onto Blackboard. I found the story map to be similar to PowerPoint and Prezi. However, there were some features on the Storymap I was not fond of. For instance, I do not like that the Storymap does not save automatically. A few weeks ago I was unaware of this fact and I lost a few of my slides. Other than that, the Storymap was interesting to use and navigate. Finally, I updated my reference guide and was able to upload that to Blackboard as well. I am completely done with the assignments for this class and feel confident that I will receive a good grade. I am looking forward to reviewing the Storymaps in class in the upcoming weeks.

Stephanie Belllofiore EDU 106-82 Last week, I was able to take class time to work on and finish my access and excel worksheets. I found it helpful that I was able to use the class time to get them both done and found it helpful that the Professor came around to answer questions we had. I was able to submit both assignments on time. I have kept up with all of the work and look forward to reviewing my storymap on blood diamonds soon.

Stephanie Belllofiore EDU 106-82 This week, students were given an incredible amount of work to complete. I feel as a level 100 course, I am expected to do more in this course than the level 400 courses I am taking. I attempted to complete the Access database assignment and I am not getting the end result that is required. I hope we go over this in class and I am given the help I need. Right now we have this database due, the story map, research guide, and a new essay draft due. This is way too much work to be expected of students in my opinion.

Stephanie Bellofiore EDU 106-82 As I reflect on the beginning half of the semester, I feel I have done an excellent job keeping up with the work. I have submitted all the quizzes, projects, and assignments on time.  I also have done all the blogs up to date. I find this class to be a bit scattered. I signed up because it is an education course yet, I'm not sure I see the overall point. We use a lot of technology but are not really shown or explained how to use it. I hope in the second half of the semester, the overall point of the course will be displayed more.

Stephanie Bellofiore  Dr. Brown/ Dr. Okobi EDU 106-82 28 Feb. 2018 After class I met with Dr. Okobi to discuss the Resource guide and what needed to be fixed on my initial submissions. After meeting together, it became much clearer as to what I needed to change. I made the necessary changes to my original draft and just submitted the final version on BlackBoard. I used Perdue Owl in order to properly cite my sources and as an English major, I used the MLA format. I am hoping I receive a good grade on this assignment. As midterms are approaching I am beginning to anticipate my grade. I found it helpful that you listed out what is due before midterms are complete and the percentage of each assignment on BlackBoard. It helps me as a student when professors are clear with their expectations. I am looking forward to a relaxing break at the end of next week!
