This week in EDU 106 we submitted our initial PowerPoint drafts. I found this assignment very beneficial and I learned a lot about what makes a presentation successful. I was able to use tools to add pictures, video, and music to my slides. I also learned how to advance my slides automatically to 20 seconds each. Finally, each slide I was able to record my voice in order to describe the information displayed on each slide in great detail. I found the Resource Guide to be a bit confusing. The directions were not very clear and I do not feel that the Resource Guide follows the MLA guidelines. Standard MLA is called a Works Cited. I would like to go over the requirements on the Resource Guide more clearly in class next week.
